Objectives

The Computing Resource Center aims to:

1. Implement the Policy of Information Technology (IT) of UFG, approved by the University Council;
2. Managing the IT infrastructure of UFG and, in particular, the data network of UFG,both at the internal and external;
3. Computerize organizational processes of UFG, in order to promote an effective and efficient implementation of the work of civil servants, teachers and students;
4. Designing, developing and maintaining corporate computer systems according tothe needs of UFG;
5. Design and implement your IT strategic planning to meet the IT policy of UFG;
6. Coordinate the acquisition of IT products and services in UFG;
7. To study, promote, implement and disseminate new information technologyresources that contribute to the overall improvement of the activities of UFG;
8. Advise and train the employees of administrative bodies, the academic units andcampus from inside the UFG in the proper use of their IT resources.
